Sara Valderrama

Greetings Everyone !

My name is Sara Isabel Valderrama Zapata,  I'm a Lawyer from the University of Medellin and I have two majors, one in Customs Law and the other in Social Security.
Currently, I'm working at "the Free Trade Zone" in Rionegro. It's a very interesting job , with a different challenge for every single day.
 In 1998, I lived for a year in Washington State,  in a small town called "Battle Ground" during an exchange program. Although it is very cold and rains too much, the Pacific Ocean is very beautiful and it has spectacular sites and places to visit. 
 From the year 2000, I started teaching English at different institutes, at the UPB and now I'm very happy teaching here at the University. I have also some teaching experience in Law classes. I consider teaching the best way to keep in touch with topics that you are interested in and that want to stay updated. To feel that you can pass on yout knowledge to others, is pricelees ! And also, it is that students learn to love language as much as we do. 
About my hobbies, well I live a quiet life. I enjoy practicing a sport, going to the gym, jog or walk. I love going to the movies, the theater or new restaurants. I also like to spend time at home with my family and friends, sleep and read, when I have the time most of all I really enjoy traveling.
